Students of Grade Three will be using the following school supplies in September:
< 4 large book socks for their main textbooks;
< a good supply of sharpened pencils;
< a red pen;
< 2 folders;
< crayons (a box no larger than 16 is necessary and requested);
< scissors;
< 1 glue stick;
< 1 Elmer’s Glue (or any WHITE brand);
< 1 good eraser;
< a sturdy 12” ruler with both metric and standard markings;
< 1 Highlighter marker (any color)
< 1 box of kleenex;
< 1 roll of bounty towels
On the first day of school I will supply the children with:
<5 blue marble notebooks, to be used for our subject areas; < 1 cursive composition notebook, to be used as our assignment book.
These notebooks, in most cases, should last them for the entire year. The cost of the blue notebooks is $ 1.50 per book. The cost of the composition notebook is $ 1.50. Kindly have the total amount in an envelope with your child’s name on it.
The children will be receiving many workbooks. I ask that these be covered, too. When these are received, may I strongly encourage you to cover these with clear contact paper. It is amazing how well-kept these workbooks still are by May/June!
