2. One of two selections: Ten Little Indians (also titled And Then There Were None) OR A Murder is Announced, both are by Agatha Christie
3. Student's choice
Upon return to school there will be a test about the first two selections. The questions will be general in nature. No trick questions. The third choice will be assessed by a project regarding the book. The project will be completed during the first days of school.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
Please be prepared on the first day of class. Remember to replenish supplies as they run out.
· Erasable pens (blue, black, red)
· Pencils and erasers
· Protractor and compass for Math
· Ruler, scissors, tape/glue/glue stick
· Art supplies (markers/crayons/colored pencils/highlighters)
· Container for supplies (sturdy and adequate)
· Jumbo Book Sox for hardcover books- colors to match subject colors below-information will be in the August mailing regarding the HSA's Book Sox Sale

· Portfolio for organizing tests, homework worksheets, etc.
· One folder for each special subject, (Spanish, Music, etc.)
· White modeling clay
· Marble notebooks for note taking (8)
· Assignment pad (given in school-part of materials fee)
· Theme paper, for tests (purchased from school)
· Loose leaf paper, for writing
· Small Post-it notes for marking places
· 2 Large boxes of tissues (for classroom); packets for pocket
