September 23 - 24, 2009
Grades 4-8:
Bring in your flash drives next week for programming. Flash drives must be at least 1GB and USB 2.0. If you are unsure, I will check it out for you. If you do not have a flash drive, you may purchase one from Staples, or the school can provide one for you for $9.00.
Grades 1-3:
We will be learning how to log in and out of the computer, and how to run the programs and games we will be using this year.
September 30 - October 1, 2009
Grades 7-8:
Using Writer: Open document; change character formatting; change paragraph formatting; change page formatting; save document; create new document; creating PDF files.
Grades 5-6:
Using Writer: Open document; change character formatting; change paragraph formatting; save document; create new document.
Grade 4:
Using Writer: Open document; change character formatting; save document; create new document.
Grade 2-3:
Keyboarding: Home position review; speed assessment.
Grade 1:
Basics: Logging in; using the mouse; running programs.
