Fellowship

St. Anthony's Fellowship Program

Each family has signed up to provide  20 hours of service this school year.  This provides many opportunities for parents to be involved in every aspect of their child's education.  This program allows us to keep service related costs down while allowing parents to interact with their child's friends and other parents, building the kind of family atmosphere that has become a trademark of St. Anthony's School.  If you are serving in Parish events (Choir, Lecturer, Eucharistic Minister, ESL instructor, etc.) please sign up at the Parish Office and advise us of your service to our Parish.  Please note that volunteers who work with our children attend "Protecting God's Children" sessions and have undergone a background check (fingerprinting).

Below is a list of our Special Events and Programs, with the date of the event and the appoximate number of Service Hours needed for that event. The chairperson's e-mail address is noted for more information or to sign up as a volunteer.   Please note that for ticketed events (Casino Night, Tricky Tray, etc.) it will be necessary for you to purchase a ticket even if you are working a shift at the event.

(Please know that each event is a first "sign up" first serve basis - once the event has enough volunteers, it will close.)

Tricky Tray
April 9, 2010

Our largest fundraiser! This event will take MANY volunteers for preparations.

Volunteers will be needed for all committee's - please note that there is plenty of help needed

that can be done from your home. This is a great way to earn service hours.

Soliciting Committee

This Committee's primary job is to call and/or email companies and to send letters to companies for
Karen Burke
donations. Form letters have been created and we have a list of businesses waiting to be contacted. For

local businesses, a personal visitation for donations works the best. We need lots of help here! This is a
great way to earn hours from home!

Decorating Committee

Help think of ideas and create decorations that follow this year’s theme. Help will be needed
Karen Burke
the entire week of the Tricky Tray.

Wrapping Committee

What a perfect way to earn service hours - as the months get closer we meet in the garages
Donna Fleming
for a night of wrapping and putting baskets together. Experience is not needed!

Advertising Committee

This Committee will contact the local newspaper and Butler, Chanel 77. Also, flyers will need to be
Person Needed
placed at local supermarkets and businesses, and put on community bulletin boards. This can all be

done on your schedule.

Ticket Sales

This person will be responsible for keeping track of tickets for the Tricky Tray. As ticket requests
Person Needed
come into the school office, they will be sent home to you. You will then be responsible for getting

the tickets back to school as well as keeping track of the amount of tickets sold. This could very easily

fill all of your service hour requirements. There is already a "system" in place to follow.

Runners

These individuals will bring the prizes up to the drawing area and then deliver them to the respective
Karen Burke
winners once the prize ticket has been drawn. This will be done in shifts, this way everyone can enjoy

a fun evening as well as earn hours.

Set Up / Clean Up

The night of the event as well as the morning after. We will need help returning our borrowed tables as well as having the Parish Center “back to normal”
