St. Anthony’s School Fathers’ Club
The St. Anthony’s School Fathers’ Club is a group of dedicated fathers, grandfathers, uncles and guardians of SAS students. The most important focus of the Father’s Club is to raise money for underfunded, non-budgeted school supplies, and provide assistance with projects during the school year. The Club also lends its support to the community as needed through its Outreach program.
While assisting in school functions, the Club holds fundraisers during the school year. The Fathers’ Club volunteers are proud to host:
Ø Fall Flowers and Pumpkins Sale
Ø Casino Night
Ø Christmas Tree Sale
Ø Annual Chili Sale
Ø Spring Flowers Fundraiser
Ø Movie Night
In the past our efforts have helped acquire Bibles for the middle school, purchase a sign for the school exterior, buy cordless microphones for the Drama club, obtain stencils for the school playground, deliver flat screen monitors and a computer for the office. We have supported the fund for snow removal and the installation of new fire doors for the school. Our volunteers lend a hand to the “Toys for Tots” program to aid local families in our community during difficult times.
Membership to the Father’s club is open to all SAS families. To join us, please complete the membership form and e-mail to spmefford@aol.com. We hope to see you at the first meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2009. We meet the first Thursday of the month at 7:30pm in the Parish Center. We do not meet in December or June and meeting dates are subject to change to accommodate the school calendar, if necessary.
